The network said the "suspense" how and wrestling matches would not be televised because they required production skill which pinch-hitting technicians don't have. Six television shows were cancelled last night after the walkout began.

Four were minor unspon-sored programs, CBS said. The union, the A. F. of L. International Brotherhood of Electrical Wprkers, claims it has halted 40 per cent of CBS' television production.

It also contends radio production suffered delays and "various imperfections." The network claims radio broadcasts have not been affected, although radio technicians also walked out. The walkout of 370 technicians here was followed by a sympathy walkout of about 35 in Hollywood, the union said. The dispute mainly revolves round working conditions such as days off and lunch periods. A CBS spokesman said the union "seems fairly satisfied" with a minimum wage offer of $135 a week after five years. The technicians' present five-year minimum is $128.50 a week.

They had sought $145 a week. Four-Room Residence Burns at Langleyville Taylorville, June 13 (Staff) A four-room house owned by Arthur Davidson and occupied by John Dixon burned near Langleyville about 8 p. m. today. Taylorville firemen were unable to put out the blaze.

Mrs. Dixon said she had put tome pies in the oil stove's oven and had gone to visit a neighbor. When she looked out, her house was in flames. No furniture was saved and there was no insurance. No loss estimate was given.
