Warwickshire County Council asking to be kept in the picture about future plans affecting village amenities The decision was taken at a committee meeting after the felling of a roadside tree one of an avenue of horse chestnuts In Elmdon Lane planted by residents more than 30 ago Mr Wright chairman of the Association said today: We are writing to the Clerk of the County Council asking him to confirm that permission was given for the tree to be felled and suggesting that since these trees were planted by residents to improve village amenities it would be right to advise us or the Parish Council of
