Economist Newspapers, Wednesday, March 9,1977 Began highlights The National Honor socie : ty of.Bogan High school will hold its annunal induction ceremony at 9 a.m. tomorrow in the school auditorium. Seventy seniors will be initiated, with 36 probationary junior members also taking the pledge. Participating in the can- dlelighting ceremony will be officers Peggy Doheny, president; Paul Werner, vice president; Maria Dimas, treasurer, and Mary Lou Minardi, secretary. .Other student participants include Emanual Banakis, Angela -Oetjen, William Carlson, Andrea Lark, Carole Nicholson, Browning Mitchell and Mary Ellen Rulek. [Certificates will be presented by Cornelius F. Ryan, assistant principal. "The speaker will be Miss ' Eileen Wild, science consultant for the board of education's bureau of curriculum and a former member of the Bogan physics department. William J. Scheid, principal, will also address the students and their parents. On the program will be selections by the Bogan concert band under direc- tion of Adolph Erst. Parents also have been invited to attend a reception . after the induction. Miss Janet Calkins is faculty sponsor for the National Honor society. **» Bogan's PTA international luncheon will be held in the school's social room, 3939 W. 79th St., Tuesday, March 22, from 11 a.m. to until 1 p.m. This is the organization's only fund-raising event of the year. A donation of $2.75 is asked. Mrs. Martha Eraser is president of the PTA. *** Congratulations to the 12 Bogan students who had art work displayed in the Scholastic Art show at Wieboldt's store in Ford City. They are Janice Wojtycki, key finalist; Carol Iwanski, key award; Jennifer Jones, Gary Krejca, Susan Kukulski, Lucy Ayala, Jerry Bills, Terese Duffy, Darnell Dukes, Peggi Foy, Ray Rovello and Victor Santiago, all merits. *** · A portrait of the late Mayor Richard J. Daley has been placed on permanent display in the school. The 28-by-34-inch portrait. Compile list of homes for sale Tom Baliga, 4733 S. Kilpatrick, vice president of Archer Heights Civic association, lias established a listing of houses for sale in the area bounded by and Archer,'Cicero and Knox avenues. The list will be maintained with the intent of providing an orderly transition of houses; in the neighborhood, and to assist residents in selling their homes. 'The program is voluntary.
