Mike Strong Communities "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts our fear. For fear has to do with punishment and he who fears is not perfected in love." — 1 John 4:18 Everything that we know about God should inspire love, never fear. We should not, like a child, be good merely because we know punishment will surely come our way if we are not good. God is not a wrathful overseer. No one is more aware of the frailties of human nature, nor more sure of the strength that comes from perfect love. Learn the true meaning of love and you will lose your feeling of fear.
