The judge postponed action in arraignment of two Indiana men accused of abducting a young housewife and raping her in her 4 year old daughter's presence. Robert James, 23, of route 1, Greencastle, made an oral motion to quash indictments against him. The judge told him to put his motion in writing within five days.

The other defendant, Donald W. Rowings, 19, also of Greencastle offered to plead guilty. The judge told him he would face a possible life sentence, and said he would withhold action until James reappears. They became stranded here when a student travel service ran into financial difficulty and couldn't find a plane to fly them home.
