(allow time for chilling) 2 cups (8 01.) elbow macaroni 1 cap thick sour cream '// cup Italian salad dressing Yi teaspoon salt l / 4 teaspoon seasoned salt Few grains black pepper I Yi caps diced cooked chicken Yi Ib. bacon, pan-broiled and crumbled 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped *A cup chopped pimiento 1 large tomato, diced 2 tablespoons lemon juke 1 avocado, peeled and sliced Curly endive 1. Cook macaroni according to directions on package; drain. 2. Meanwhile, mix together in a bowl the sour cream, salad dressing, salts, and pepper; add macaroni and chicken and mix well. Chill thoroughly. 3. Add bacon, eggs, pimiento, and tomato to macaroni mixture; toss lightly. Turn into salad bowl. 4. Sprinkle lemon juice over avocado slices. Garnish salad with avocado and endive. Additional bacon, chicken, eggs, pimiento, and tomato may be used to garnish, if desired. 6* servings M«al-in-On« Sandwich TO PREPARE: 20 MIN. TO MARINATE TUNA: 1 HR. Marinate flaked tuna in a small amount of Italian salad dressing for 1 hr., tossing occasionally. 2. Meanwhile, combine the next six ingredients in a bowl and mix thoroughly. Mix the chipped beef, mayonnaise, and sweet gherkins together. Cover and set aside in refrigerator. 3. Toast bread, trim crusts, and butter whole wheat toast on one side and white toast on both sides. 4. To assemble each sandwich, top a slice of the whole wheat toast, in order, with the following: a lettuce leaf, about % cup egg salad mixture, tuna pieces, tomato slices, a slice of white toast, another lettuce leaf, about *4 cup chipped beef mixture, green pepper rings, and another slice of buttered whole wheat toast. 5. Add the milk gradually, stirring constantly. Bring rapidly to boiling, stirring constantly; cook 1 to 2 min. longer. 3. Mix in the corn and parsley. Fold in the beaten eggs. Turn corn mixture into a buttered, shallow 1%-qt baking dish. 4. Set in a 350° F oven 35 min., or until a silver knife conies out clean when inserted halfway between center and edge of dish. 5. Keeping two slices of each type of sausage together, form each pyramid in the following way: spread 1 tablespoon Braunschweiger over salami, center on bologna and top with lettuce leaf. Spread 1 tablespoon cheese food over thuringer and center on salami; spread pepperoni with a mixture of butter and mustard and add to pyramid. Chill thoroughly. 2. TO MARINATE: 1 HR. 1 1-lb. can diagonally shccd green beans, drained tablespoon f nely chopped onion cup cider vinegar tablespoons dark brown sugar Yi teaspoon salt 6 tomato shells, chilled 1 tablespoon basil, crushed 1. Pour a mixture of the vinegar, brown .sugar, and salt over the beans and onion in a bowl; toss lightly. Set in refrigerator to marinate 1 hr., tossing occasionally. 2. Sprinkle the inside of each tomato shell with crushed basil and salt. Spoon beans equally into tomato shells.
