Victor Fiteh mtiiniMtm Mr. and Mrs. Tom Trenary and Mr, and Mrs. Bill Trenary went to Mason City Sunday afternoon where they visited Kenneth Trenary In the Park hospital. Mr. Trenary had lust undergone surgery for a strangulated hernia the Friday before. He Is getting along as well as can be expected, although he had put In a bad Saturday ntght, and had been transferred from room 212 to 227 on the second floor. Mr. and Mrs. Ray McWhorter and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Becker were Sunday dinner guests In the Frank Becker home in honor of Norman Becker's 10th birth- Ing the Burt Presbyterian church the Burt Presbyterian church that day, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Fitch and Judy and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Grosser and Randy were Saturday evening visitors in the Harold Andreasen home. The Andrea- sens showed their many pretty colored pictures taken while they were visiting in Florida. Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Stewart were dinner guests in the Garnie Hood home at Rutland a week ago Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. David Stewart and family of Waterloo spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Loyola O'Brien. Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Stewart attended the commencement exercises at the State College of Iowa, Jan. 25, in which Mrs. David Stewart was one of the graduates. Mr. and Mrs. Loyola O'Brien and Grandpa Bahling of Algona also attended. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wood and Randy visited in the home of Mrs. Wood's aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kenne of Irvington Sunday evening. CITY Of ALOONA, IOWA COUNCIL MINUTES The City Council met January 25, 1967 with Mayor Finn and the following Council members present: Muckey, Andreasen, Elbert, & Miller. Absent: Cook & Pelrce. Minutes of last meetings were read & approved. Class C beer permit was approved for Dunn's Sure Save Market. Resol. approving the Road Use Tax report for 1966 was adopted. Mr. Wm. C. McCorklndale, president of Sky Coach, Inc., came before the Council to explain the service that Sky Coach could offer air passengers in this area. It was moved & seconded that the firm of Knobbe, Gallagher, Volberding & Wadsworth, C.P.A. of Estherville, la., again be employed to audit the Cities books for 1966. Proposed Ord. # 457, which prohibits parking on Thorlngton, Dodge, Moore and Harlan street on each said street between call A Nebr. street and prohibits parking on Jones street between State & McGreagor street and by prohibiting parking on Nebr, street between Hall & Jones street and prohibits parking on State between Jones 4 Hall street between 2:00 a.m. & 6 a.m. and prohibits truck parking on Nebr. street between Jones & Minn, street and prohibits parking in excess of 2 hrs. between the hours of 9:00 a,m. and 5:00 p.m. except on Sundays & Holidays on Nebr. street between Thorlngton, & Moore street and the North side of Nebr. street be- ween the Intersection with Jones street and the present High School Annex East property line and on the South side of Call street between Jones & Harlan street, was given the second reading.
