Wednesday completing another In a series Unking Louisiana with contiguous states In the vast Federal Highway Program The new link opened offlcial- ly to traffic at 10 am according to Highway Director project engineer for the three projects The opening means that L55 Is now a completed reality for the entire distance between Ponchatoula and Jackson Mis-sissippL Ninth of Jackson 1-55 is still under construction between Canton and Valden some 40 miles Then the route is completed from Valdai Mississippi northward to Memphis Beginning at the south end of the new links near Ponchatoula 1-55 will Appeal Wednesday ruled that FREEDOM OF CHOICE for Louisiana's schools will no longer be acceptable The long-awaited decision uphold an earlier do ciiiorf by Judge Alvin Rubin and reversed decisions by
