in Manchester are to become eligible for free transport as a result of a High Court ruling Previously the council ruled that children using schools outside the borough would not be supplied with free bus passes because it is the decision to send their children to a school other than one available in Stockport But a similar policy held by Rochdale council was recently deemed unlawful by High Court Judges forcing Stock-port to review their decision Parents of nine Stockport children attending Trinity Church of England High School in Manchester have argued that they were forced to send their children to the school because there are no Church of England schools in Stockport The council will now have to by Andrew Fraser fork out £125 bus passes for each child affected by the decision
