Mgnday, December 1947 THE LOGAN DAILY OHIO Page Five WCTU, Junior Tourists Offer Yule Program Members of the Women's Christian Temperance Union wvSS joined by a group of the Junior Tourist Book Club when they held their annual Christmas party at the Hocking County Home Saturday evening for the 19 residents of the home. Mrs. Paul Monks presided and opened the program by leading the singing of Christmas carols. Special numbers were given by Mrs. Richard Farmer, Mrs.

Harry Reeves and Mrs. R. B. Hansel. Bert Bell led the devotions, reading the Christmas story, followed by prayer.

Mrs. A. T. Spears entertained with readings after which all joined in singing favorite hymns of the residents of the home. The highlight of the evening was the appearance of Santa Claus who distributed gifts and greetings.

Later, a social hour was enjoyed in the apartment of the Funk family. Refreshments were served at the close of the evening. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Farmer, Mr.

at Ohio Power Co. office to broadcast. Refreshments served in scout clubrooms after broadcast. Logan's own orchestra, the Oh- Kehs, will play for the annual Christmas dance to be held at Bell Hall Thursday, December 25, from 9 P. M.

to 1 A. M. The hall has been decorated for this holiday social event in red and green, with evergreen trimmings. Chaperones for the dance will be Mr. and Mrs.

Francis Myers and Mr. and Mrs. Marion Allen. Tickets for couples are now on sale' at Leon's Smokehouse, Myers Shoe Repair and by Bill Sauer. Single admission tickets will he sold at the dance.

Co-Educational Class at 8 P. M. at EUB parsonage Tuesday, December 23 VFW Auxiliary at 7:30 P. M. Initiation, refreshments.

All members urged to attend. Pythian Sisters at 7:30 P. M. at of hall. Townsend Club at 8 P.

Potluck supper and gift exchange. Lackey-Fuller Nuptials Read The rectory of St. John's Catholic Church was the scene Friday evening of the wedding of Miss Delores Mae Fuller, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Clarence Fuller, and Rfeh Lackey, son of Mr. and Mrs.

Albert Lackey, all of Logan. The ceremony was read at seven o'clock in the evening by Rev. Fr. Charles P. Foy.

The bride was attired in a two piece white wool crepe suit with which she combined brown accessories. Her shoulder corsage was fashioned of red rosebuds centered with a gardenia and babv breath. tpss Pat Lackey, a sister of the groom, in a blue wool frock with black accessories and a corsage of gardenias, acted as maid of honor. Lloyd Thomas served as best man for the groom. The immediate families and a few close friends were guests at the wedding.
