The firm Is headed by John A. Hlne, who serves ai president and general manager, With the honor, Mr. Hlne WB§ presented n reproduction of the famous painting of Pontiac, Chief of the Ottowas, the great tribal leader for whom the car WRS named. The presentation was made by Mr. Allan F. Ives, manager of Pont lac's St. Louts zonr. In his presentation address, Mr. Ives cited John Hine Auto Co. for the firm's constant, efforts to improve its dealership operation and widen its services to the community. "Our Better Dealer program wns Instituted within the last year with the aim of making Pontiao dealers pre-eminent In the automotive field," Ives said. "It Is not enough that Pontlac dealers be as good as their competitors. They must be better. They must, be better than they themselves were a year ago. They must be better than they were six months ago, and they must be better than they were yesterday to maintain this honor and keep possession of this symbolic picture."
