Upper Iowa university wfll continue to participate in the Tuition Plan for the coming year, it was stated today by Dr. Eugene E. Garbee, president. The Tuition Plan, Inc. of New York City offers a monthly payment service permitting coverage of tuition and other charges out of regular income, in order to meet the growing problem of college costs and their payments. Garbee explained According to Victor C. Crafton, bursar, use of the deferred monthly payment plan enables parents and students to plan the handling of college costs on a one, two, three or even four-year plan. "Tuition Plan will finance not only the tuition but all fees listed in the catalog, such as room, board, laboratory fees, music, uniforms, and other additional expenses incurred in college," Crafton said. In addition to allowing payment of college costs on a monthly basis, the longer term plans include life insurance which will provide for payment of all the renaming contract in the event of the death of the parent who signed the contract Under a one-year plan, payments are made in eight .equal monthhr amounts; under the two-year plan there are 20 payments; for three years, 30 payments; and for the four-year course, 40. Tuition Plan is presently in'use by over 600 schools and colleges throughput the United States. In- formation on the serivce at Upper Iowa can be obtained from the business, office.
