PERSONALS PATTY and BETTY BRAY, daughters of Dr. and Mrs. Daniel Bray, will arrive in Algona, Friday, Dec. 23, to spend the holidays with their family. The girls are students at St. Catherine's, St. Paul. We send greetings, not as a custom, but with sincere thanks for your friendship. The Management and Staff of TAYLOR IMPLEMENT TAYLOR MOTOR CO. ALGONA FLOUR & FEED CONSTANCE and MICHELE Cassel will spend the Christmas holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Cassel. Connie attends Clarke College in Dubuque and Michele is a student at St. Teresa's, Wlnona, Minn. MRS. DONALD K1NGFIELD and Mrs. LeRoy Strohman were co-hostesses for their annual bridge club Christmas party. The party was held at the Strohman residence Dec. 20. MR. AND MRS. Louis Nitchals will have a guest for the holidays, Kathryn Currans of Ruthven, a sister of Mrs. Nitchals. MARILYN HARRIS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Harris, arrived home Dec. 17 from State College of Iowa, Cedar Falls, to spend the holidays with her family. VICTORIA and JOHN BRAD- ley will spend their Christmas vacations with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Joseph Bradley. Victoria is a senior at Duchesne College in Omaha and John is a freshman at Creighton University, Omaha. Complete details in the UDM Jan. 5. Goods Stolen Theft of merchandise from autos was reported by two Algona residents to the police department here Tuesday. Groceries, a radio and other merchandise was stolen from cars owned by Al Semon and Carl Johnson Tuesday afternoon and evening. The thefts are being investigated. LEMONS Mrs. John Leibold, Cascade, has a "midget" lemon tree and right now it is bearing two lemons. One, however, is far from being a midget; it measures 11 1/2 inches around.
