Public Notice Regular Meeting July 2, 1962 Meeting called to order by Mayor Beck. 7:45 o'clock. Roll call of Councllmen, Addy, Smith, Gallaher and Hennig. Absent Bowen. Minutes of June 6, 11, and 25 meetings read. Motion by Smith the minutes be approved, seconded by Hennig. All voting aye. Nay none, carried. Paul Pickett meet with council to explain the proposed budget for the Fayette Community Library for year of 1963 to 1964. Glen Greenough meet with council in regard to the water which is flowing in to his pasture from the storm sewer. This is to be corrected as soon as the sewer line on Union street is repaired. Forry Reichert of the American Pipe Cleaning Co. explained to the council their system of cleaning sewer lines and of the TV inspections of lines for any brakes in line. Motion by Smith that we employ American Pipe Cleaning Co. to open up the sewer line on Union street and also TV inspect the line to find where the trouble is with sewer line. Seconded by Hennig. Councilmen present Smith, Addy, and Bowen. Absent Hennig and Gallaher. Meeting called for purpose of working on budget estimate for 1963. Motion by Addy that hearing on the budget to be set for August 6. 1962 at the Town Hall at 7:30 o 'clock. Seconded by Bowen. All Voting aye, Nay none, carried. Motion by Bowen to adjourn, seconded by Smith, all voting aye. carried. A. E. Wood Clerk Special Meeting July 31, 1962 Meeting called to order by Mayor Protein Addy. Councilmen present Addy, Hennig and Gallaher. Absent Smith and Bowen. Meeing called in regard to sludge in sewer line between Union street and the disposal plant. • Motion by Hennig that resolu- ution as agreed between Mr. Glen Greenough and Councilmen that the town pay for crop damages of $11)0.00. American Pipe Cleaning Co. will be working on sewer line in Mr. Greenough corn and bean fields. Seconded by Gallaher. All voting aye, Nay none, carried. Motion by Gallaher to enter into contact with the American Pipe Cleaning Co. to clean approximate 3142 feet more or less sewer line from Union street to disposal plant and line on county road, also re- clean union street line, at the' rate of 87 cents per foot. Seconded by Hennig. All Council voting aye. Nay none, carried. Motion by Galaher and seconded by Hennig to adjourn, all voting aye. carried. A. E. Wood Clerk ed Commissioner to succeed Wayland Frederick of Arlington. Mr. Nading became a cooperator with the Clayton district in 1960. The Nading farm is located five miles northwest of Strawberry Point. Assistant commissioner James E. Nading, Strawberry Point, who farms 287 acres in Cass and Sperry townships, has been appointed Assistant Commissioner of the Clayton Soil Conservation District.
