Miss Fedderson f R y Estate transfers Of Armstrong Wed Recently SWEA-EAGLE - Catharine Louise Feddersen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Feddersen, and Richard E. Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Johnson, 'were united in marriage Nov. 26 at 8 p. m. at the Methodist church 'at Swea City, with Rev. Edward R. Maus officiating. Marcia Larsen served as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Connie Lund and Jane Johnson, sister of the groom. The bride chose an all-lace wedding gown, fashioned with a fitted bodice, scalloped sequin- trimmed neckline, long sleeves, and the floor-length full skirt was three tiered. The overskirt was caught with rosettes of organdy and lace. The shoulder- length veil was held with a seed pearl crown. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses. The bride's personal attendant was Connie Pech. Rodney Richardson served as best man and groomsmen were JohnSenen- felder and Jack Johnson, brother of the groom. Flower girls were Valerie Jones and Shelly Johnson, nieces of the groom. Ringbearer was James Johnson, brother of the groom. Ushers were Lynn and Dennis Feddersen, cousins of the bride, and Robert Brock and Ronald Johnson, cousins of the groom- Mrs. V. E. Hazelhoff andMar- jorie Tobin provided a program of nuptial music. A reception was held in Fellowship Hall immediately following the wedding, with Mrs. James Walters registering the guests. Mrs. Michael Pierce registered the gifts and others helping with the gifts were the bride's cousins, Lana and Linda Rankin and Sharon Feddersen and Karma Johnson, cousin of the groom. Rodney Johnson and Bruce Jones carried the gifts. At the punch table were Mrs. Michael Koons, a cousin of the groom, Mrs. Eldean Maschoff and Mrs. Erwin Johnson, aunt of the groom, and Mrs. A. J. Kramersmeier, cousin of the bride, presided at the coffee service. Hostesses were Mrs. Monroe,, Rankin and Mrs. John Feddersen and waitresses were Mrs. Lunn Feddersen, Colleen Elliott, Judi Steiff, Patty McConnell and Bonnie Pech. Mrs. Wm. Pech assisted with flowers. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson will reside at Fairmont, where both are employed. Both are graduates of Swea City 'High School and Mrs. Johnson attended Mankato Commercial College. Weekend guests at the Chris Feddersens to attend the wedding of their daughter were B. K. Williams, Washta, brother of Mrs. Feddersen; L. G. Deming, Sioux City, brother-in-law of Mrs. Feddersen; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Kelelson, Clinton, Mr. Feddersen's sister and husband, and their daughter and family; and Connie Lund of Hopkins, Minn. Other out of town guests at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Steiff, Judi, Lori and Dennis of Forest City, Mrs. Etta Hagge and Mr. and Mrs. Reynold Stoltz of Blooming Prairie, Minn. Lourence Thilges honored at farewell party ST. JOE-Mr. and Mrs. Lau- ;rence Thilges are moving to South Harlan Street in Algona where they have purchased a home. Saturday evening, neighbors gathered for a farewell courtesy and presented them with a gift certificate. Lunch brought by the neighbors was served, following a social evening. At 500, Mrs. Howard Borman and Patsy Hackney received prizes. Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Tony Weydert. Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Weydert, Mr. and Mrs, Hubert O'Brien, Mrs, Patsy Hackney. At Heating Course Bill Loebig and Carl Froe- iich of the Standard Oil Company in Wesley, graduated recently from the Iowa Independent Oil Jobbers Association school on Heating Comfort in Des Mpines. Riverdale 4-H Unils On Tour Of Des Moines St. Joe - Saturday afternoon Nov. 26th Riverdale Rustlers Unit 1 and Unit 2 4-H Club members, leaders and mothers chartered a bus from Fort Dodge to Des Moines to see some of the interesting parts of the city. A tour to the Criminal Bureau of Investigation, State Capital, the Historical Building and the Art Center'was made in the morning. Following lunch, everyone attended the "Holiday On Ice" Matinee, which was enjoyed by all. Linda Mae Reding and Sandy Wagner Club reporters. - o - Knights of Columbus, St. Joseph's Council met on Wednesday evening Dec. 7th in the local Club Room for their regular monthly meeting, Milford Plathe, Grand Knight, presiding. The Council made the annual Christmas remembrances and extented greetings. A Feather Party will be held in the K. C. Hall on Monday evening beginning at 8 o'clock with plenty of fun and eats to make an enjoyable evening. Bernard Thilges received the attendance prize. Math Zeimet returned to his home on Tuesday from St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital. Catholic Daughters of America Court St. Joseph will hold their regular monthly meeting and Christmas party on Wednesday evening December 14th with a 6:30 dinner proceeding. Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Berte Rodman are parents of a son born on December 8th in St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Fort Dodge. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bormann and Mr. and Mrs. Nick Berte Sr. are the grandparents. The Bormann' shave a son, Kevin, three-years-old.
