A letter from the secretary of the Illinois Association of Wo-! men Deans and Counselors laud-j ing Miss Velora Buscher, dean of girls at the school, for her out- standing service to the organization and to a similar national group was read by A. Edson Smith, district superintendent - The board agreed that the district will no longer be able to pay the entire cost of insurance for boys coming out for football and voted to ask the opinion of the schools athletic staff concerning the matter. The board hopes to work out a plan whereby the district will pay part and the boy will pay part of the constantly increasing in- urance. Bills totaling $64,261.47 were allowed.
