IL Beard of Liberty. No definite action was taken or promises made at the meeting, but the visitors expressed themselves as willing to meet the company in any proposition it may have to make. The directors of the interurban company explained to the visitors that the incorporation papers authorized an extension of the line to Cincinnati, either from Greensburg by way of Harrison, or from Connersville by way of Liberty, College Comer, Oxford and Hamilton. It was explained that the ultimate purpose of the company was to make the extension, but as yet the board of directors had not taken up the question of what was necessary to carry out tike plans. The visiting committees arrived just before noon and went direct to I the hotel, where they were met by the directors.

The meeting was the re! snit of correspondence between the directors and Mr. Greer of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, that body wishing to know under what terms the road can be obtained. The meeting followed tbe recent reorganization of the Indianapolis (incinubti Traction Company and its sale to the present owners.
