Ex-Hillsboro Woman Dies in California Hillsboro (Staff) Word was received here day of the death at Alhambra. of Miss Elizabeth Whitehead. 82. former Hillsboro resident. She died last Tuesday in the home of her sister Mrs.

William S. Harris. Funeral services were held there Thursday. The body will be cremated the ashes shipped to Hillsboro for burial in the family lot in Oak Grove cemetery. Miss Whitehead was a daughter then of the late Mr.

Cole of Wellesley, Mass. Fairgrange Farmer Injured in Collision Charleston (Staff) John Blair, 70-year-old farmer. residing near Fairgrange. is in the Charleston hospital, suffering from a leg fracture just below the hip. facial lacerations and possibly a fracture of a rib.

as a result of an auto collision on the pavement at the Fairgrange curve, six miles north of Charleston, Saturday afternoon. Mr. Blair was taken to the hospital ir Clark's ambulance. Monday morning hospital attaches said his condition was "just fair." The cars involved in the crash were operated by Junior Wyeth, with whom Mr. Blair was riding.
