10, 1999) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Markwell Funeral Home, Casey, with the Rev. Steve Greene officiating. Burial will be in Washington Street Cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Thursday at the funeral home. She was born June 19, 1913, in Clark County, the daughter of Lewis Henry and Bertha Louella Rhamey Swarthout. She married Dick E. Shore in 1929. He died in 1992.

Surviving are one son, Richard Shore of Charleston, S.C.; one daughter, Donna McCoy of Casey; seven grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two sisters. Walker, 57, of Pittsfield, died at 6:20 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 10, 1999) at St John's Hospital, Springfield. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the West Cemetery, Pittsfield, with the Rev, Doug Carter officiating.

Visitation will be from noon until 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Niebur Funeral Home, Pittsfield. She was born May 9, 1943, in Mt. Zion, the daughter of Mervin and Addie Warner Bahney. She married Raymond E.

Walker in 1961. He survives. Also surviving are three sons, Raymond "Bubba" Walker of Pittsfield, Kenneth Walker of HannibaL and John Walker of Charleston; two sisters, Tina Kelly and Non Walker, both of Hannibal, one grandchild; and one stepgrandchild. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Mrs.

AREA DEATHS Carlissle Blalock SULLIVAN Carlissle Ann Blalock, 86, of Sullivan, died at 11:20 p.m. Saturday (Oct 9, 1999) at St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur. A private graveside service will be held. The Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan, is in charge of the arrangements.

She was born July 9, 1913, the daughter of George F. and M. Belle Waggoner Allison. She married Ervil Blalock. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are her cousins. Mrs. Blalock attended Sullivan First Baptist Church, was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Rhoda Rebekah Lodge No. 167 of Sullivan, and the Order of the Amaranth, Ellabelle" Court No. 25.

Memorials may-be made to the First Baptist Church. Ardie Bushart PAXTON Ardie W. Bushart, 95, of Paxton, died at 3:15 a.m. Monday (Oct. 11, 1999) at the Knights Templar Home, Paxton.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Markwell Westfield Chapel with the Rev. M. Bert Kite officiating. Burial will be in Ashmore Cemetery.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the service Friday at the funeral home. She was born Feb. 9, 1904, in Ashmore, the daughter of John S. and Ida Galbreath Prather. She married John M.

Bushart in 1949. He died in 1970. Surviving are two sons, Richard Watson of Indianapolis, and Phillip Watson of Ashmore; one daughter, Loretta Beckert of Ottumwa, Iowa; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Mrs, Bushart operated the Westfield Drug Sundry from 1946 to 1950, worked in the restaurant business and secretarial field, and did volunteer work. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, a 50-year member of Eastern Star, Westfield and Kansas, a member of the Westfield United Methodist Church, and the Dorcus Group, Indianapolis Methodist Association.

Memorials may be made to the Westfield United Methodist Church. Bettiann Gibler SCHERTZ, TEXAS Bettiann Gibler of Schertz, Texas, formerly of Mattoon, died at 5:17 p.m. Sunday (Oct. 10, 1999) at North East Baptist Hospital, San Antonio, Texas. She was born June 8, 1934, in Danville, the daughter of Joe and Mary Harcarik.

She married James Gibler in 1954. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, Stephen Gibler and Michael Gibler, of Clarksburg, two daughters, Valerie Ray of Dayton, Ohio, and Angie Lochman of Oklahoma City; one brother, Robert Harcarik of Denver, and five grandchildren, She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Gibler was a graduate of Mattoon High School and Eastern Illinois University.

Surviving are her former husband, John Roan of Hazel Dell; two sons, Greg Roan of Casey and Jeff Roan of Lemoore, one daughter, Lori Rardin of Lerna; one sister, Marion Guyer of Robinson; and 10 grandchildren.
