Switzer and James Christopher Dent indicate that a search warrant led to the discovery of methamphetamine materials at 1212 Edgar Mattoon, where they lived at the time of their April 16,2004, arrests. A report in Friday's newspaper said police reportedly found a meth lab at the residence.

Kristin St. Clair of Brocton pleaded guilty to a burglary charge alleging she had a role in using another person's credit card to make a purchase at AudioNXS in Mattoon, and other charges were dismissed. A report in Friday's newspaper incorrectly stated that St. Clair also pleaded guilty to charges of accountability to theft and unlawful use of a credit card. DEATHS IN THE NEWS Eddie Barclay PARIS (AP) Flamboyant French music producer Eddie Barclay, whose stable of singers included Jacques Brel and Charles Aznavour, has died.

He was 84. Barclay died overnight Thursday at the Ambroise. Pare hospital in Paris, the Barclay organization said Friday. Omer Kavur ISTANBUL, Turkey (AP) Turkish filmmaker and screenwriter Omer Kavur, whose psychological dramas were featured in prominent international festivals, has died of cancer. He was 61.

Kavur, who had been suffering from lymph node cancer, died at his home in Istanbul Thursday, according to Sadik L. Moncel, 8914 N. County Road, struck and killed a deer as it approached the vehicle at 7:31 p.m. Monday along Route 16 at Interstate 57. Avenue.

Ann S. Steidl, 22, of Lerna was ticketed for failure to yield after a collision at 2:04 p.m. Wednesday with a vehicle driven by Lydia A. Karl of Macon at Lincoln Avenue and Montgomery Drive. Michael P.

Browning, 2727 S. Fourth reported that at 5:52 p.m. May 6 a strong cross wind caused the flatbed trailer he was hauling to start swaying. He reported that he consequently lost control of his truck and it struck a guard rail along Illinois Route 16, west of Douglas Drive. Bradley, 6037 Old State Road, was injured and taken by ambulance to Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center after a two-vehicle accident at 3:48 p.m. Thursday at Old State Road and U.S. Route 45. The other driver was Lyla J. Priest, 1922E County Road 250N.

Calista C. Neff, 25, Lake Land Boulevard, was ticketed for illegal transportation or possession of alcohol and improper lane usage after his car damaged a concrete curb at 2:53 a.m. Thursday along the 3000 block of Western Avenue. AREA DEATHS Roseann Fagan CHARLESTON Roseann Fagan, 53, of Charleston, died at 7:29 p.m. Monday (May 9, 2005) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.

Arrangements are incomplete at the Caudill-King Funeral Home. Tilford Nebergall Jr. CASEY Tilford Nebergall 81, of Casey died at 11:30 p.m. Thursday (May 12, 2005) at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, Ind. The funeral will be 11 a.m.

Monday at the Nebergall Markwell Nebergall Norma DeLong MATTOON Norma C. DeLong, 92, of Mattoon, formerly of Dunedin, Florida, died at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday (May 11, 2005) in Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon. Graveside memorial services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday (May 24, 2005) in the Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park, Clearwater, Florida.

Memorials are suggested to Dunedin Country Club Foundation. Arrange- Leland Norton SULLIVAN Leland V. Norton, 90, of Peoria, AZ, formerly of Sun City, AZ and Sullivan, IL died May 12, 2005 in Peoria, AZ. Mass of Christian burial St. Columcille Catholic Church, Sullivan at 11:00 a.m.

He married Karen Nichols Phillips in 1992; she survives. Other survivors include a stepdaughter, Brenda ments by Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan. Norma was born November 20, 1912 in Fairland, Oklahoma the daughter of John and Anna Steffens Hulskotler. She had been a beautician for many years and had been a member of the Dunedin Country Club for over 37 years. Norma married Joe Nagy and he preceded her in death.

She then married Bryan Wilson DeLong in 1968 and he also preceded her in death. Surviving are her brother, at Greenhill Cemetery, Sullivan. Memorials: St. Columcille Catholic Church, Alzheimer's Association or Donors Choice. He was born in Brighton, IL September 23, 1914 the son of Edward and Frances Maxeiner Norton.

He married Virginia L. Welch December 28, 1943 in Paris, IL and she died September 10, 1988. He is survived by three daughters, Sandra and hus- LORENE VIBBERT two step-sons, James Vibbert MATTOON Mrs. Lorene Vibbert, 78, of Mattoon, Illinois, passed away at 5:21 P. Thursday, May 12, 2005, in the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Coles County, Illinois.

Lorene was born December 24, 1926, in Effingham County, Illinois, the daughter of Henan U. and Lela N. Alwert Orsborn. She married Marvin Vibbert in 1970, in Mattoon, Illinois, and Mr. Vibbert passed away November 4, 1999.

Mrs. Vibbert was a former employee of the Mattoon Broom Factory and she was also a housewife and a homemaker. Lorene leaves two sons, Gary Eaton of Ft. Scott, Kansas, and David Arbor and wife Debbie of Paris, one daughter, Tina Hooker and husband Bill of Denver, Deveci, a friend and film producer. The films by the Frencheducated director probed the depths of human existence and psychology and helped win international praise for Turkish cinematography.

His 1987 film "Night Journey" chronicled the story of a filmmaker working in solitude as he dealt with the past. Floyd J. Lupton Jr. BELHAVEN, N.C. (AP) Floyd J.

Lupton who was the chief of staff to the late Rep. Walter B. Jones for more than 26 years and was one of the few people to have a state coastal ferry named after him, died Tuesday. He was 82. Lupton died at his home in Belhaven, where he retired after Jones died.

Rep. Walter B. Jones R- N.C., the late congressman's son, introduced legislation in Congress to rename the new Belhaven post office for Lupton. A window on the vehicle belonging to Luke Matthew Ames, 3304 Western Mattoon, was broken while it was parked at Lender Bagels, West Illinois Route 121, Mattoon, between 10:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3 a.m.

Wednesday. A snow plow blade was stolen from the Tammy S. Carpenter residence, 6839 Dole Road, Mattoon, between 6 a.m. and 4 p.m. Wednesday.

A pickup truck hit the mailbox at the Stefan T. Craig residence, 1490 Nursery Road, Charleston, at 11:15 a.m. Thursday. Hamand of Pontiac, a brother, Maurice Eugene Nebergall of Orlando, and four grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son.

Mr. Nebergall Jr. was owner of Nebergall Heating Air Conditioning for 29 years. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of the Casey Masonic Lodge, Clark County Shrine 1070 Patrol and the Casey Country Club.

Allen service MATTOON The funeral service for Harold L. "Abe" Allen was Friday at the Schilling Funeral Home with Pastor John Connett officiating. The eulogy was offered by John Hulskotler of Vandalia; daughter-in-law, Kay DeLong of Charleston; step grandchildren, Jeffrey J. DeLong of Marshall Islands, Douglas E. DeLong of Sullivan, Illinois, Bradley S.

DeLong of Kansas City; eight step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a stepson, five brothers and two sisters. Patrick Powers of Mattoon, officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mahon Cemetery near Altamont, Illinois.

Gary Kepley, Patrolman Morris Sparr and Chief Deputy David Griffith. Mr. Allen, 86, of Mattoon, died on Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. and wife Wanda of Greensburg, Michael Vibbert and wife Kathy of Vibbert Center, six stepdaughters, Patricia Rhinehart of Hardyville, Barbara Burton of Glasgow, Gladys Rhinehart and husband Rondell of Knob Lick, Elizabeth Burton and husband Gary of Edmonton.
