Dr. Zaharis received his bachelor of science degree in 1955 and his masters degree in 1957 from the University of Oklahoma. He received his Ph.D. from Kansas State University in Manhattan in 1960. He comes to Upper Iowa from Benedictine Heights College in Tulsa, Okla., where he served as head of the Department ol Biology. He served in the Navy hospital corps from 1948 to 1952. He is married and has five children. Faculty ouplex one Of newest mdcfitioM Among the newest and most attractive additions totte Upper Iowa University physical plant is the Mary B. Jones faculty duplex completed last school year. The duplex, built from funds willed to the University by Miss Mary B. Jones, is located five blocks west of the campus. It ^ cost apprewimately $29,000 to construct and provides housing for two faculty families.
