One school fnom each of the six vocational agriculture districts is eligible to enter a booth in competition for $440 in premiums. Hall said the purpose of the exhibit is to show fair visitors the work of Iowa's vocational agriculture departments in public high schools. F.F.A. members alro serve as ushers for the grandstand programs. One F.F.A. chapter and state officers arc in charge of the children's barnyard where young animals frolic during the 10-day fair. The event was held in the Memorial Union Building on the State University of Iowa campus from 3 to 5 p.m. daylight savings time. Representing Upper Iowa at the coffee hour were: President and Mrs. Eugene E. Garbee; Roger Bowen, alumni executive secretary; Dean Wilson C. Gill, registrar; M. H. Alden.jn, director of public relations; and members of the teaching faculty. Plant Mrs. Fred Weers has a 30 spike Yucca plant with approximately 42 blossoms in the back yard of her home in. Anamosa.
