Jerry Christensen of Oelwein has spent the past two weeks with hi-, aunt and unele, Mr. and Mrs. Kail I.idle and family. Mrs. Charles Guhring of Elgin, Mrs. Klmer Struss and Mrs. Pearl Johnson of Wadena, went to Vinton Tuesday, where they were shopping. The Fayette county American Lcgiiai and Legion Auxiliary met Tuesday evening In the Wadena Legion hall. Post Commander George Alderson announced the program. The Legion and Auxiliary convention is to be held this year at Denver, Colo., and the DeWees bus is taking a load. Mr. Anderson showed slides of some of the interesting places to see along the way. At the close of the meeting, lunch was served by the Wadena unit. Mr. and Mrs. Gn-rge Aider- son, Nancy, Randy. Jeffery and Janet left Saturday morning for Walker, Minn., to spend over the fourth of July with their friends, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Flower and family. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Struss and Dannie, and Dickie Acschliman went Saturday to spend a week with Mrs. Struss' sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clem- as, at Federal Dam, Minn.
