Algona, (la.) Upper De» Moines Tuesday, Nev, 1, 1966 4-H Clubs At St. Joe Elect New Officers ST. JOE - Rlverdale Rustlers Unit I met Oct. 22. Illustrated talks were given by Ruth Thilges on brushing and hanging up clothes, Judy Kollasch and Jean Reding on etiquette and good manners. Demonstrations were given by Colleen and Kathy Reding on exercises. Election of officers was held ami the following were elected Pre. : Jbit - Darlene Piathe; vice president - Jud> hoilasch; Secretary - Jane Reding; Treasurer - Suzanne Reding; historian - Sandy Wagner; reporter Colleen Reding; recreation chairman - Janice Erpelding and Maribeth Thilges; music chairman - Barbara McGuire and Ellen Bormann; courtesy - Ruth Ann Thilges; Photography Paula Thilges. The annual Award Night will be held Nov. 15 at which time all club members are to be present to receive awards for their year's work. Mary and Carrie Thilges and their mother were hostesses. Riverdale Rustlers Unit H 4- club met Oct. 22. Pledge to the Flag was led by Joan Reding with Jean Reding leading the 4-H Pledge. Kathy Reding gave a demonstration on exercises and Jean Reding gave an illustrated talk. Election of officers was held, and the following were elected: President - Joan Reding; vice president - Jean Reding; secretary - Michelle Thilges; treasurer - Linda Reding; histor-. ian - Suvianne Reding; recreation chairman - Elizabeth Zeimetand Sandy Kollasch; music chairman - Jane McGuire; reporter- Kathy Reding; courtsey - Mary Thilges and Diane Bormann; Libarian - Carrie Thilges. The next meeting will be held November 12, Award Night will be held Nov. 15 and nil club members are to attend to receive awards for their past year's work. Mury and Carrie Thilges and their mother were hostesses. - o - Mrs. Albert Thilges and Paula and Mrs. Will Thilges and Ardis attended a pre-nuptial shower in the Assumption Parish Hall in Emmetsburg for LouAnnNauglu. Miss Naugle will bt the bride of Larry Huberty Nov. 5 at Whittemore. Mr. Huberty is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Nick Huberty of Whittemore and a nephew of Albert and Willie Thilges from here. Mrs. Ed Bormann entertained the R-Nu 500 Club Wednesday with Mrs. Sylvester Wagner, Mrs. N. J. Weyuert and Mrs. Anton Weydert receiving prizes. '"b. Orville Wagner entertains toe club Nov. 17. Word was received hare of the death of ..Irs. Frances Welbig, 86, Dell Rapids, So. Dak., with funeral services Thursday. Mrs. Welbig -vas a sister of Mrs. Will Thilges Sr., Algona.
