Blackorby said that he had recovered a cash register, stolen In the grocery store burglary, from J, L. Griffith, Carrollton service station operator. Griffith told authorities that he had bought the cash register and had given Baze a check. Baze was charged with the burglary In a Complaint made by Blackorby. The auto abandoned by Baze was towed to Jerseyville Tuesday evening after the intensive manhunt was called off due to darkness. Roxana Rotarians Hear Jerry Collins ROXANA — Jerry Collins of WBBY addressed members of the Rotary Club Wednesday evening at the First Presbyterian Church. Collins explained what the station had to offer and how it was operated. He conducted a question and answer period which dealt mainly with his program "Wise Bits By You." Wayne Bridgewater was program chairman. Visiting Rotar- s were Herman Wilkening and Bill Shortal of Wood River. New Time Schedule ROXANA — Roxana Junior and Senior High schools this year have adopted new time schedules for the 1963-64 school year. An eight hour school day has been instituted with the senior high classes beginning at 8 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m. The junior high classes begin at 9 a.m. and will end at 3:55 p.m. Hawaiian tourist trade is up.
