(AP)—Susan Anderson buried one of her recent constant companions Wednesday—to the joy of herself and 100 fi'iends and neighbors. Susan, who is eight, arranged the neighborhood party to celebrate the burial of a cast she has worn on her right leg since an operation May 3. The mock funeral represented another big victory in the campaign against illness Susan has waged since birth. She is afflicted with a muscle deficiency. "They said she wouldn't be able to walk until she was 5, but with determination she learned to walk at.20 months," said her father, Clarence W. Anderson. Susan also managed to learn to swim and ride a bike. The happy cortege was led by a clown and a magician. It led from Susan's home to the yard of Mrs. Norene LeVey, a neighbor who suggested the party to Susan soon after the operation. As friends and relatives cheered, the cast was laid to rest in a marked grave beside a flower bed.
