His attorneys said they would appeal. Sentencing was postponed until Ward can be brought into court. Doctors said that would be at least a week. He could get seven years in prison on each count. Ward was acquitted on one charge of living off the prostitution of Vicky Barrett and two oi' procuring under-age girls. Two further charges against Ward o! counseling and procuring the commission of an abortion were not pressed. The court ruled these charges would be held over to September, after the summer recess, when prosecutor Mervyn Griffith-Jones will decide whether to proceed with them.
