Card shower scheduled Karin Lacy, Garry Lanham wed by candlelight to mark 80th birthday 1" SHELBYVILLE Arrangements of mauve, burgundy and white lilies, carnations and roses adorned the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church for the candlelight wedding of Karin Lacy and Garry Lanham. Their parents are Linda Lacy of Toledo, Mr. and Mrs. John Gingrey of Shelbyville and Mr.

and Mrs. Roger Lanham of Decatur. The Rev. Judy Curry officiated the 4 p.m. double-ring ceremony on April 22, 1995.

Organist Janet Albin of Neoga accompanied Jerry Burrell of Neoga who sang, "Everything I Do, I Do For You," "Through the Eyes of Love" and "Wind Beneath My Wings." The bride wore a white bridal satin gown styled with iridescent sequins and seed pearl detailing, which embellished the Basque bodice. Beaded lace adorned the bateau neckline and the tucked Renaissance sleeves. The full skirt, accented with a large back bow, extended into a semicathedral-length train embellished with beaded Schiffli embroidered appliques and inserts of sequined lace. She carried a cascade of mauve, burgundy and white roses and tiger lilies. Amy Newcomb of Charleston attended the bride.

She wore a tea-length mauve taffeta gown and carried a bouquet of mauve, burgundy and white roses with tiger lilies. Sloane Lynch, niece of the bridegroom, daughter of Tom and Tonya Lynch of Shelbyville, was the flower girl. Scottie Welton, son of Tym and Marie Welton, was the ring bearer. Her husband is a 1984 graduate of Shelbyville High School and works at Manufacturing in Shelbyville. Following a honeymoon trip to Florida and the Bahamas, the newlyweds reside near Shelbyville.

ASHMORE The children of Marjorie Kimball invite family and friends to attend an open house for her 80th birthday on Sunday. It will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Ashmore Community Center. Bob Byron of Dawson served as best man. Groomsmen were Gary Davis of Springfield, John Nowack of Pekin and Tom Cisna of Mattoon. Shayla Davis, daughter of Gary and Derlie Davis, was the flower girl; Todd Erickson, son of David and Sandy Erickson, was the ring bearer. Ushers were David Erickson of Springfield and Rick Buzzard of Godfrey. A reception was held at Lincoln Park pavilion.

The bride is a graduate of Lake Land College with an associate's degree in accounting and a graduate of Eastern Illinois University with a degree in business administration. She works in the office of Select Beverages. Her husband attends the University of Illinois at Springfield and is majoring in computer science. He is a hardware and software technician for Integrated Business Systems Inc. The newlyweds reside at 2301 W.

The bride, escorted by her father, wore a dresses with black velvet bolero jackets. They carried bridesmaid bouquets of white roses and ivy with burgundy and black floral accents.

Brock and Dalton Baker, children of the newlyweds, were the ringbearers. Darin Beck of Mattoon was the best man. Groomsmen were JonThoinas of Decatur, Tim Plata and Ed Sullivan, both of Mattoon, who also seated the guests. A dinner and dance reception was held at the Areola Country Club with music provided by Tim Montgomery, disc jockey. The bride is a 1988 graduate of Mattoon High School and a 1989 graduate of Lake Land College with a degree in dental assisting.

She is a dental assistant for Dr. J.L. Hastings, DDS. The bridegroom is a 1989 graduate of Mattoon High School and served with the U.S. Navy.
