The event was sponsored by the Allied Community Services Committee. Among those honored at the dinner were Hugh Worlhcn and Ed Bean, former couneilmen who were presented trophys,.for having completed 10 or more years of service on the council. George Nauyok, Philip Belanger and Mayor Paul Louden were presented plaques.for their years of service on the council. .Jerry Trattler, master of ceremonies, introduced. Ivan Kramer, former mayor ,\vhb spoke on "Development of, .the Coimdl-Mnuag- er System Locally," and James Delaney, also a former mayor, spoke on "The Citizens' Responsibility in This Type of Government." Entertainment was provided by The Trebleaires. The American Legion color guard presented the colors and Marry Goforlh , gave the invocation.
