Their daughters also were observing their Wedding anniversaries. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Wolf (Darlene) observed their 20th and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Keck, (Wanda) their 13th. The Modllns also have a son, Charles of Chicago, who came for the celebration. They have three grandchildren. Miss Irene Schrler and Charles Modlln were married June 30, 1923 at the parsonage of the Gil- lesple Lutheran Church by Rev. L. Krekler. Their attendants were: Marie Hnuschlld Dillon and Roy Rusher. Other guests in addition to their Immediate families present at the supper at their home were: Mrs. Esther Suhling and daughter of Bunker Hill; Mrs. Viola Wolf, Mrs. Mary Snhllng of GllleSpift; Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Wolf of Dorchester; Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Wolf and family of Godfrey^ Miss Doanna Wheeler, Mr, and Mrs. Floyd Wheeler of CarllnviHe. Mrthortlst Holiday SHIPMAN ,- Bishop Vofght of the Methodist Church has proclaimed a "Methodist Holiday" to be held Saturday, July 13 at t)u- Quoln fair grounds. Sessions will be at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. and Bishop Henley from the Florida-Cuba area will discuss timely topics. "Moughlon and Harger" song stylists will give a musical program and an nil male laymens choir will sing with rehearsal at 6 p.m. Club Entertained SHIPMAN - The Hilyard Community Club met Friday afternoon at the Austin Jaynes home and made plans to entertain their families at H picnic supper. The affair' will he held on Tuesday, July 23 at 7 p.m. at Walton park In Lltchfteld. Mrs. Don Heuer joined the club. Wise of Bunker Hill visited Sunday in the H. R. French home. Mrs. John Edwards is a patient at the Area Hospital in Carlinville. Mrs. L. E.
