DEAR ANN: "Your Problems" By Ann landors Dear Ann Landers: Is it possible that some people are not cut out for marriage0 beginning to think one of those people. a woman 45 who has been widowed three times twice grass and once sod. In all honesty I must count the last marriage a failure because it was heading for the rocks when my husband died. I could have sworn that each of my marriages would last forever. I believed myself to be madly in love every time.

This is what frightens me. How does a person know? The man going with now is wonderful. crazy about him but I'm afraid to accept the ring been carrying in his pocket for five weeks. He has had two marital flops, which gives us a combined total of five failures. extremely happy when going with a man, but once we are married everything turns sour.

Can it be, Ann, that marriage is not for everyone? -DISENCHANTED. Dear Disenchanted: Marriage is NOT for everyone. In fact, this is the title of a chapter in my recent book. A successful marriage is not a matter of luck. It Is an achievement.

Marriage demands a mature response to obligations and not everyone is equal to it. Some women (and men, too) the glamorous and romantic aspects of courtship. They imagine it will continue forever. When reality klops them in the chops (diapers, in-laws, doctor bills, mortgages) they become disillusioned and bitter. Marriage is not for the self-centered, the coward, or the unforgiving.

It is only for those who know how to love give. Dear Ann Landers: Will you kindly explain who pays the baby sitter when a man takes out a widow? Here is what happened and I would like your opinion. It was my very first date with the woman. We had a lovely time and I knew be asking her out again soon. Just to be polite I offered to pay the baby sitter when we got back to the house.

I was dumbfounded when the woman held out her hand and said of course you can pay her. That will be been paying the sitter ever since. This woman has a nice income and she owns her own home. She works part-time to keep busy and is not hard up for money. not hard up either, but the principle seems wrong.

Since she is just as well off as do you feel it right that I should be stuck with this I A MILLIONAIRE. I Dear Not: The woman should pay her sitter, but If you were not sincere in your offer you should have kept your bazoo closed. Now a little late to renege, without making an issue of it. He said the net profit to Hanna over the seven year period was $7,535,000 while the government was acquiring nickel at below market prices and also receiving taxes from the Hanna nickel operation of $5.8 million, withholding taxes of $2 million for Hanna nickel employees and approximately $7 million for power from the Bonneville Stateside Anfwtr to tovtan IBS Maryville Woman Gains 1st MU Masters Degree at MSC Boy Scout Notes Sail In For Lunch Lavallette, N.
