Patricia Ferris Weds Patricia K. Ferris and Allen A. Andreasen were married at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection at Racine, Wise., Sept. 17 at 7 p. m., with Rev. Roger Knudsen performing the ceremony. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Gerald J. Ferris of Algona and the bridegroom is toe son of Mrs. Aage Andreasen, Racine, Wise. The bride was given in marriage by her father and her attendants were Mrs. Denzil Fossberg, matron of honor, Sandra Wallace and Marcia Sells, bridesmaids. Serving as best man was Don Lo Piccalo, and groomsmen were Roger Ferris and Tim Eckblad. David Pederson, Gary Adelsen and Jerry Ferris were ushers. Scott Fossberg served as ring bearer. A reception was held in toe fellowship hall following toe ceremony. The bride is employed as a child welfare caseworker for toe Racine Welfare Dept., and was graduated from toe State University at Iowa City. Her husband is employed as a draftsman at Western Printing and Lithographing Co. Following a trip to toe western states, they will live in Sturtevant. graduate, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Koppen of Whittemore, took him there on Sunday. Takes Draftsman Course, Illinois Robert J. Koppen enrolled in his freshman year as a Draftsman at toe Institute of Drafting and Technology, at Morrison, ni. Monday. Larry Kockler Of Swea City Wed Recently LEDYARD - Linda Goeke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Goeke of Elmore and Larry Kockler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Kockler of Swea City were united in marriage Sept. 24 at 11:30 at the Sacred Heart Catholic church by Rev. Robert E. Thiele who preformed the double ring ceremony. The organist was Mrs. Harold Inglett. The bride was attired in a plain white satin empire waist gown with an A-line skirt and a train wliich fell from the shoulders. The long sleeves ended in points at the wrists. She had a silk tulle veil in the butterfly style. The bride made her own wedding gown. Her bouquet was white orchids and stephanotis. Her maid of honor was her sister, Cynthia Goeke, bridesmaids were Arliss Looft and Monica Beemer. Mary Kay Kockler, sister of the groom, was junior bridesmaid. Ring bearer was Dick Kockler, brother of the groom, who carried the rings on a white satin pillow. Tom Kockler, brother of the groom, was best man. Other attendants were Michael Pierce, Joe Welp, Jr., and Davie Goeke, brother of the bride, who was junior groomsman. Ushers were William E wing, Tom Hurlburt, Chuck Hewitt and Roger Smith. There was a reception for 300 guests at Elmore. A brunch was held at the Steve Powers home for the immediate wedding party following the ceremony. Following a wedding trip along the Mississippi and to Chicago the couple is now at home at Minneapolis. Algona, (lo.) Mrs. Dennis JBol- tenberg served punch, Mrs. Maurice Keil poured coffee, Mrs. Joe Ingebritson poured tea and Mrs. Carlyle Engelby and Mrs. William Evans, Jr. cut and served the cake. Mrs. Pat Doocy was in charge of the guest book, Mrs. Martin Iloyd, Margaret Powers and Diane Doocy were in charge of the gifts. Sandra Engleby, Alonna Moellenhoff, Debra Ingebritson and Kathy Smith were waitresses. There were four grandmothers present and two grandfathers who attended the ceremony. They were Mr. and Mrs. Tim Doocy of Ledyard, Mrs. Jake Kockler of Swea City and Mrs. Cecelia Evans and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Goeke of Elmore. Licenses To Wed Two wedding licenses were issued at the office of County Clerk Alma Pearson this week. They went to Dennis A. Elbe it and Rosalie Hyink, Oct. 6; and William C.
