Services 1 to celebrate Gary's life will be 6:00 pm Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the First United Congregational Church of Christ, 3465 N. MacArthur, with Pastor David Taylor officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6 pm on Wednesday at the church. Interment with "Flight Home" ceremonies will be 9:00 am Thursday, April 9, 2009 in Graceland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First United Congregation Church of Christ Funeral Home is assisting the family with these arrangements. Online condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.gracelandfairlawn.com. Gary was born January 10, 1957 in Decatur the son of Clarence "Al" and Betty (Zech) Cummings. He was a graduate of Stephen Decatur High School class of 1975. Gary was employed at Caterpillar as an auditor.

He enjoyed repairing vehicles, lawn mowers, or whatever he found to work on. He loved his dog and cat. Gary was always willing to help others. He had a great heart and will be greatly missed. He leaves behind his mother Betty Cummings of Decatur, one brother Jerry L.

He was retired from the Wal- Buckner DECATUR Dorothy Mae Chapman Buckner went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Dorothy was born February 18, 1913 in Jefferson County, IL. She was a homemaker and a resident of Eagle Ridge Independent Living Center in Decatur IL. She is survived by 6 children: Janice (Richard) Nelson of Henry, IL, Carroll (Joyce) Chapman and Jerald (Becky) Chapman of Decatur, Charles (Eva) Chapman of Woodstock, Rebecca (Jerry) Rentschler, Casa Grande, AZ and Ronald (Lucinda) Chapman of Wonder Lake; 26 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren and 8 great, great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, step grandchildren and was an "adopted" mother and grandmother to many others.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Leslie Carroll Chapman and Cliff Buckner; 3 daughters and their husbands: Mary (JD) Gearlds, Ruth (Jim) Russell and Josie (Harold) Trader; son-in-law Ken Sutton and 1 great grandson also preceded her in death. She never met a stranger and showed love to all. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at the Moran Goebel Funeral Home from 10 am until the service time at 11 am. Nunn, 90, of Tampa, formerly of Decatur, died Friday (April 3, 2009) in Excel Rehab Center, Tampa. The body was cremated. Memorial services will be at a later date. Mrs. Nunn was born Oct.

9, 1918, in Meredosia, the daughter of James and Mary Jones Whitlock. Her father died Oct. 15, 1918, of influenza while in the Army during World War when Vivian was just six days old. Her mother married Jesse Nunn on Jan. 7, 1926 in Jacksonville.

Vivian married Leland Nunn, the nephew of Jesse Nunn. Vivian and her mother had the same last name and Vivian's son Larry had two Grandma Nunns. She was a homemaker and lived in Decatur for a short time in the early 1950s. Surviving are her son, Larry Nunn and wife Deborah of Dunedin, grandchildren, Justin and Ella Bush, both of Dunedin; brother, Donald Nunn and wife Kay of Decatur; sisters, Doris Moore and husband Wendell of Decatur; Mardell Lidgard and husband William of Chambersburg; Lila Dunlap and husband Donald of Pekin. She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, two brothers and one sister.

Tiggis ter Mayer Company in Chicago, where he worked in sales. Clarence was a member of the Unitarian Church in Hinsdale, Illinois. He married Charlotte Elsa Gunther on September 11, 1934 in New York, NY. She died on October 3, 1972. He is survived by his son, Walter A.

Jump, 51, of Niantic, was taken unexpectedly, and entered into his eternal peace with Toby Jump his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, April 4, 2009.

He married Brenda Henderson on August 11, 1984. He worked for Caterpillar, and helped weld the world's largest mining truck. He put his heart and soul into being the head coach of the Sangamon Valley JFL. He was a brother member of the Local UAW 751. He and his wife enjoyed camping with their children in Tennessee the past 25 years.

He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and enjoyed campfires. He loved country music, especially Tracy Lawrence. He would never miss a Nascar race. His children were the love of his life, and he enjoyed their activities with them. He is survived by his wife of almost 25 years, Brenda; four children, Jamie Brown (husband, Rob); Jeremy Jump; Jordan Jump; Jacob Jump; two brothers, Jeff Jump (wife, Linda); Tim Jump; sister, Suzy Zeigler (husband, Jeff); and many nieces and nephews.

He was retired from ABE Specializing in Traditional Green and Bob is a proud St. Mary's Hospital and had formerly worked for Morgan Door and Sash Co. He was a W.W. II Naval veteran having served on the U.S.S. Lexington.

He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal Fan and enjoyed bowling. Surviving is his son: Larry Tiggis and his wife Randa of Tallahassee, FL; daughter: Corinne Ross and her husband Dennis of Long Creek; grandchildren: Tony Tiggis and his wife Michelle, Lisa Stratman, Lindsay Tiggis, Julie Bishop and her husband Chris, Jennifer Scogin and her hus-, band Chris, Cori Ross and special friend Josh "Jay" Jones. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife and his parents.
