air WTGS Channel 28 signed on Sunday Sept 2 the first station in the area programmed exclu sively for the says John Bailie General Manager and part owner of Channel 28 going to give the people the programming that they ask Starting with a healthy diet of movies and programming WTGS promises to be to the viewing desires of the area resident theater versions of movies are something that the networks says Bailie only are all of our movies uncut but some of them even been on broadcast television yet movies such as Dr Detroit DC Cab Conan the Destroyer and Halloween Plus showing some honest to goodness continues Bailie think everybody likes John Wayne pictures and coming out with all the refer ring to oldies but goodies like Test Pilot and Sons of Katie Elder Along with their long list of movies WTGS is offering somenew programming Thundercats is a car toon that is red hot Kids love it and so will parents be cause of its strong message of good over evil Along with new shows like Thundercats and Gobots Channel 28 will also broadcast classic cartoons like The lintstones and Scooby Doo The rest of their schedule is rounded out by syndicated shows like Barney Miller Taxi Star
