Colombian golfer Camillo Villegas won the most money at the World Golf Salutes King Bhumibol Skins Tournament at the Amata Springs Club in Chonburi province, taking five skins for $109,800. Paul Casey won nine skins for $92,400, and local golfer Thongchai Jaidee claimed three skins for $90,000. Woods earned only $6,600 for his skin and left the country right after the event on his private jet to Melbourne, where he will defend his Australian Masters title starting Thursday.

It was Woods' first trip to the homeland of his mother, Kultida, in 10 years. She did not accompany him due to health problems. In a skins tournament, players compete for a reward for each hole, with prize money added to the next hole in case of a tie. The prize money of $900,000 will be donated to a charity foundation associated with Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The event is part of celebrations marking King Bhumibol's 60th year on the Thai throne.

Woods has not won a tournament this year. his July 21 urine sample contained "very small" traces of the banned substance. Contador denies doping and says the clenbuterol came from contaminated meat. Obilale had earlier told The Associated Press he felt abandoned by soccer authorities. The French-based Obilale was liable for six-figure hospital bills after being shot twice in the back, injuring his spine and leg. He says he does not expect to return to soccer but hopes to one day walk again. GOLF Mcllroy won't play on PGA Tour in 2011 LONDON Rory Mcllroy has decided not to join the PGA Tom-next year, which could mean as many as three of the top 10 players in the world ranking not belonging to golf's strongest tour. Mcllroy told British newspapers Monday evening that he found himself not wanting to be in America, especially during the FedEx Cup playoffs when the majors were over.

In his rookie season on the PGA Tour, Mcllroy closed with a 62 to win at Quail Hollow, and finished among the top three at the British Open and PGA Championship. Millikin head coach Debbie Kiick was named the CCCIW Coach of the Year and four Big Blue players earned all-conference honors when the league's team was announced. But about the same time, Millikin learned that it was left out of the NCAA Division III Tournament field. The Big Blue seemed to be destined for a berth after a record-setting year before falling to Wheaton 3-2 in the CCIW Tournament semifinals. Making the first team from Millikin were junior outside hitter Kelsy England and sophomore setter Brittany Cardott. On the second team were seniors Kylee Brown and Abby Ott.

Sophomore libero Erin Reed earned honorable mention honors. Kiick led Millikin to a 28-7 record and the Big Blue won the regular-season CCIW title with a 7-0 record. Millikin's season included a stretch of 22 straight wins. England set a Millikin record with 564 kills on the year and had 412 digs on the season. In CCIW play, England was the kill leader averaging five per set.
