Trustees installed for three-year terms were Mrs. Florian Naber and Mrs. Henry Thien. The installing officers who wer presented gifts were Mrs. Joe Farran of Jacksonville and Mrs John Finnan, pastor of Eldred Baptist Church. Pallbearers were William Flatt and Harold Flatt, Clenfon Day, Robert Reynolds, Frank Reynolds and James Reynolds. Burial was in the Richwoods Cemetery. Dailey will attend th annual meeting of the America] Medical Association in Atlanti City, N.J., the week of June 16 Dr. Dailey is an alternate dele gate from the Illinois State Mec ical Society to the American Med ical Association. He will return t his office here July 1. The sons of Dr. and Mrs. Dailej have made plans for the summer David Dailey, a junior at Carroll ton High School, will attend th Summer Youth Theater June 16-3C at the University of Illinois. Jack Dailey, who is finishing his first year in medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, will arrive home June 7 and will leave later for summer employment at Ely Minn., where he is a professiona guide in the canoe country. Birthday Dinner CARROLLTON — Mr. and Mrs. Everett Mehl entertained at dinner Tuesday evening at the Oasis in celebration of the birthday anniversary of Mrs. Mehl's mother, Mrs. H. E. Kistler. Other guests were Mrs. B. W. Mehl of this city, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Joshu of Ml. Olive and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Kistler of White Hall. Broadway Fmipral CARROLLTON — Funeral services for Chris Wellhausen were conducted Wednesday at First Baptist Church. The Rev. Harry Potter of Kane officiated, assisted by the Rev. Darwin Rolens, pastor of the church. Pallbearers were Joe Nord, Marvin Ballard, Wilbur Wellhausen. Fred Wellhausen, Albert Roth, ind Melvin Becker. Burial was in the Carroll ton City Cemetery. Farewell Dinner CARROLLTON — The Rev. and Mrs. Charles Fradenburgh and family will be guests of honor at a farewell carry-in dinner to be given Saturday at 6:30 p.m. in the dining room of the Methodist Church. Present will be the members of the congregation and other friends of the couple. The Rev. Fradenburgh has completed a two-year pastorate in the local church and is being transferred by action of the Methodist conference. Milnes Estate CARROLLTON — The will of Sinnie M. Milnes was admitted to probate June 4 and ordered recorded by Judge L. A. Mehrhoff. All property was left to the husband, Walter Milnes. Milnes was named executor, giving bond of $12,000. The will was executed August 13, 1940, and witnessed by H. H. Levi and Everett Mehl. Carrollton Notes CARROLLTON— Mr. and Mrs. Joe Joshu of Mt. Olive were guests Monday and Tuesday of Mrs. Joshu's sister, Mrs. B. W. Mehl and attended the commencement Monday evening at the Carrollton Community Unit High School as their great niece, Miss Marilyn Mehl was a member of lie class. Terry Cannon returned to Wood Xiver Wednesday after a visit lere with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Damon Driver. Brian Haynes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harrington Haynes of De- •atur, is spending the week here vith his grandmother, Mrs. C. G. Purl, and his great grandmother, Mrs. F. A. Linder. Lawrence Weber, a student at rtcKendree College at Lebanon, ame home Thursday to spend the ummer with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Weber. Pvt. Arnot Meek Jr., son of Mr. nd Mrs. Arnot Meek Sr., arrived ome Thursday from Ft. Leonrd Wood where he has completed six-month term of service in iie armed forces. He will now be n the active reserve for five and alf years. Pvt.
