It was the largest .graduating class in the school's history. Following a pattern the schoo used during the past severa years, the graduates themselves jresented the commencement program. The class gift to the-school, cash to buy a baseball score- ward for the athletic field, was presented by Dale Schoenhoven, class president, and received by ..es Brook, student council, president. The invocation was pronounced by the Rev. Roy B. Warner, pastor of Hartford Assembly of God Church. Members of the Icass were formally presented by A. Edson Smith, school superintendent, anc diplomas were presented by Tom Holland, president of the board o; education, and Mrs. Ula Brazier Among those receiving diplomas was Lee Strain, who left the school in 1955 to enter military service and who carried high school courses and some college work during and after his service period. Chorus Registration WOOD RIVER — Registration for the Wood River Township Community Chorus will be helc from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday nigh in the Roundhouse. Burglars Hit Alton Moose Lodge Again EDWARDSVILLE — An unde termined amount of loot was ob tained early this morning in break-in at Aston Moose Lodge the third burlary at the lodge building at 3821 College, Alton, in less than three months. The sheriff's office received a report of the latest intrusion al 7:40 a.m. today. Entry had been gained by forcing a rear door. No estimate of the loot was available at noon today, deputies said. Rains said the police committee is requesting that the city council authorize a traffic survey and a meeting with the state highway department to determine routing of traffic in the Edwards- vills area in connection with the proposed construction of new high- ways linked with the interstate road plan. The committee urged that a plan be initiated immediately to begin a study of traffic-flow and plans by the state for proposed new highways in the area in order to meet the increase in traffic in the area with the anticipated growth in construction ol Edwardsville campus of Southern Illinois University.
