TUESDAY, JUNE 4, 1963 Methodist VBS At Greenfield Opens June 10 GREENFIELD — The genera) theme of the vacation school at the, Methodist Church June 10- June 21 will be, "Widening Relationships". Mrs. Andrew Dalton is superintendent .'and classes are planned for children from age 4 thrptigh' junior high. The school will be In session Monday through Friday lof' tw6 weeks 9 a.rti. 11 a.m. dally.' -Mrs. RobeVt Morrow will be music director; fevelyn Morrow, pianist; Mrs. Gary Price, recreation leader, and Patricia Thayer, attendance secretary. Mrs. Donald Plernitscher, Mrs. Virgil Bauer, Mr*. Rotfert Gaithec, Mrs. Richard Morrow, Miss jftarilyn Spencer, Miss Betty 'Wilton, Miss Janine Barton, ^nd Miss Gean Cole, are teachers, and assistants for the Eldred kindergarten group. The lesson text will be, "Friends Near and "Frieds from Many Lands," will be .the lesson .study for the primary group, which includes the first, second, and third grades age group. Teachers arc Mrs. Louis B. Meng, Mrs. James Me- Kenzle, Mrs. Dale Browncwell, and Miss Bonnie Langley. The junior department includes the age group of the fourth, fifth, and sixth grades. Their lessons will be on the subject, "Meet Your Neighbors." Teachers are Mrs. William Stringer, Mrs. Robert Lamb, Mrs. Gary Cox, and Miss Virginia Knisley. The junior high theme will be, "How Big is Your World", with Mrs. Richard Cole, instructor. The Baptist Vacation Church School opened June 4 and will continue two weeks !) a.m.-ll:30 a.m. daily. The Rev. Raleigh Gordon is general superintendent. Classes have been arranged for kindergarten, primary, and junior departments with the age group starting at three years. Dates for the vacation school at the Presbyterian Church are June 4-June 20. Mrs. Richard Dalton Is general superintendent and the theme is, "Traveling God's Highway." A change has been made in the previous schedule and this year classes will convene Tuesday, Wednesday, 'and Thursday each week, 9 ; a.m.-ll a.m. for a period of three weeks. There are classes for kindergarten, primary, ELDRED — Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. William Ivers were Mrs. Carl Reiss, Miss Thelnia RtiyJe and Jerry Ruyle, nil of Pedria. ', Mr. an# Mrs. Robert .Havelka of Greenville, S.C., spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Havelka. Robert Reif was guest of honor at a picnic dinner held Sunday at the Park in Carrollton in observance of his seventh birthday. Guests .were his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Reif and children, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Reif and children, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Bland and son, Patsy Bland, Laf- ry Churchman, Mr. and Mrs. Nell Witt and daughter and Mr? and Mrs. Frank Reif. Mrs. Mae Newman and daughter, Shirley, left Monday for Chicago where Shirley will undergo an eye operation. They were Accompanied by Mrs. Newman's son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Lehr. Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Seelund of Chicago spent the holiday and weekend with her sisters, Mrs. Charles Hurt and Mrs. Robert Holford, and other relatives. Debbio Clrndencn returned home with them for a visit, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Stillwell and children and Mrs. Wesley Still- veil of Bothato visited Sunday vith Mrs. Ira Davidson. Mr. and VIrs. A!
