HP was brought to the Jersey Community Hospital a 4:45 p.m. rind returned home after treatment. Mrs. Floyd Schuman of Jerseyville shut the ear door on her left hand Sunday evening and crushed three fingers. She was treated at thr hospital about 8 p.m. and then dismissed. Paul Ives of Godfrey was brought to the local hospital at 2 p.m. Sunday suffering from a severe sprain of the left ankle. He fell in a creek bed at the John Loreh home causing the injury. Ho was treated and dismissed. Heads Rosary Alumni JERSEYVILLE — Mrs. William F. Hanley. who has been a guest for several weeks of her' son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. .1. J. Lennon in Oal- Park. 111., has returned to her home here. She was accompanied by her granddaughter, Theresa Ann Lennon, who will visit in Jerseyville for a time. Mrs. Lennon also accompanied her mother and daughter t. Jerseyville but has returned to Oak Park where she is teaching French at the Wright Junior College this summer and again the coming year. Mrs. Lennon has been elected president of the Rosary College Alumni Association. Her husband is professor of sociology at Loyola University. Before her marriage Mrs. Lennon was Miss Genevieve Hanley Incur Minor Injuries JERSEYVILLE — Beverly Major, 11, daughter of City Commissioner and Mrs. A. R. Major, was brought to the Jersey Community Hospital at 7:45 p.m.| Monday for a laceration of the chin incurred when she fell while roller skating. She was brought to the Jersey Community Hos-i pital where the wound was su-i tured and the patient dismissed.! Michael Wagenblast, 16-month-j old son of Mr., and Mrs. Robert' Wagenblast of Brighton, was hit; in the head by a swing at hisjl home Sunday and suffered a la-j ceration of the forehead. He wasjl taken to the Jersey Common- j ity Hospital where the wound was sutured and the patient re-;j turned home. Jersey Notes JERSEYVILLE - Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pinkerton of Phoenix, Ariz., will arrive Thursday' for a viSit with relatives in the Jerseyville vicinity. Pinkerlon; was formerly publisher of the; Jersey County News before that paper was sold and combined with the former daily and week-! ly Democrat of this city. Funeral services tor Arthur F. Hubbard of San Antonio, Tex., brother of Mrs. Laura Sunderland of Delhi, were conducted: Tuesday in San Antonio.
