Stauffer. Word has been received of the death in Florida of James B. Stauffer. Deceased was born near Salem 58 years ago, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs.

Abram Stauffer. For many years he lived near North Georgetown, and was engaged in the lumber business in Alliance. Later he went to Kentucky and made quite a fortune in the business, and he returned to ms native state and settled on a farm Richfield, Summit county. The mal ady which caused his death was disease. To his intimate friends he was known as Stauf fer, and he made friends wherever he went.

He is survive by his wife and several children, and by the follow Ing brothers and sisters: W. H. Stauf fer of Alliance, Mrs. Nathan Watson of Salem, Mrs. E.
