TUESDAY, JUNE 28, i960 ALTON EVENING TELEGRAPH CALLING ALL COOKS Grand Prize (or Best Recipe plus 30 prizes totaling $500! (3 in each recipe category) First Prize- Second Prize Third Prize- IN PRIZES IN THE 1960 COQK BOOK REGIRE RULES 1. Enter as nfiany recipes *s you wish, m one of all categories. 2. Write, your recipe carefully, in this order: ft. Name of recipe, and category. b. List Ingredients in the order they are added. c. Method of mixing. d. Special Instructions when necessary, example—(chill for 12 hours). e. Baking temperature, and time required for bakery products. f. Name, address and telephone number of contestant. 3. Write plainly. Use only one recipe to a sheet of paper, and write only on one side of the paper. 4. All entries become the property of the Alton Evening Telegraph. (No entries will be returned.) Decision of judges will be final. 5. Only one cash prize will be awarded to any individual. ,6. The contest opens Monday, June 20, I960, and closes at midnight Saturday, July 30, I960. Winning recipes will be published in the Alton Evening Telegraph—Cook Book .Section, Monday, September 12, I960. 7. Address your recipes to Cook Book, Alton Evening Telegraph, P.O.
