Cards of Thanks CARD OF THANKS I wish to thank all those who remembered me during my stay at the hospital. To our pastors Rev. Van Heukelom, and Rev. Elssens and many others who offered prayers, sent cards, flowers, food and other deeds of kindness. And a special thank you to the hospital staff and doctors for their wonderful care, and above all to thank our heavenly Father for answering our prayers. Thank you so much. Mr. Herman Oolman and family. 17-lp CARD OF THANKS Carol says, Edgar Guest left among other things, a four sentence prayer that goes like this: We thank thee, Lord, for all thy care; For strength to earn: the chance to share: For laughter, song, and friendships deep And all the memories we keep. These lines just had to be penned for me. God has certainly kept me In His care, antl my strength following each surgery has been renewed and I am again able to share my spiritual experiences with others. Out of pain and discomfort I have become more appreciative of laughter and joy. The real treasure of a. loyal friend has been revealed to me. The past Is past and much of It Is better forgotten but I can take with me Into the future the beautuful memory of what doctors, pastors, family and friends have done for me. Surely your prayers of pleading have been answered and it is now time to say prayers of praise. Thank you for the many proofs of your love and concern. Carol Hulsart. 17-lc CARD OF THANKS I wish to thank my many friends and relatives for all of their acts of kindness shown to me during my hospitalization. Your prayers, visits and cards were very much appreciated. Also a special thanks to Rev. Rubingh, and to the doctors and nurses at the hospital. Mrs. Jennie De Jong, Ireton, la. 17-lp CARD OF THANKS Many thanks to allwhowere so kind to me when I was hospitalized. Also thanks for the visits, gifts, cards, prayers, they were much appreciated. Thank you also to Dr's and hospital staff for their care and the ministers that came to pray with me. Mrs. Wilbert Kots. 17-lc CARD OF THANKS CARD OF THANKS We wish to express our deepest thanks to all of you for the kind words of sympathy, memorials given, cards, flowers and food sent at the time of our Mothers death. A special "thank you" to Rev. Elssens and Rev. Van Heukelom and to Mr. VanEtten for their words of comfort and consideration in our time of sorrow. All the pain and grief are over, Every restless tossing passed; I am now at peace forever, Safely home In Heaven at last. Then you must not grieve so sorely, For I love you dearly still; Try to look beyond earth's shadows, Pray to trust our Father's will. There Is work still waiting for you, So you must not idle stand; Do your work while life re- malneth-- You shall rest in Jesus' land.
