F.CKEXRODE King and Fayette Streets Phone 9090 Official Road Map Is NOT Ready, Yet But the Pictorial Map Has Been Released "The Pennsylvania department of highways has NOT issued a new load map this year to date but plans are underway to print and distribute a 1946 Official Pennsylvania Road Map sometime during the late spring," Secretary of Highways John U. Shroyer announced this week.

This statement was forthcoming from the Secretary due to a misunderstanding about the new road and pictorial map released for dis tribution recently toy tne Pennsylvania department of commerce. "The base of the department of commerce map was brought up to date by the department of highways and is the copyright proper ty of this department," me secretary stated in an effort to clarify the matter to the general public. Shroyer said all requests for the road and pictorial map should be directed to the department of commerce and that as soon as the Official Pennsylvania Road Map of 1948 is ready for distribution to the public, a state-wide announcement to this effect will be made.
