Starting an indefinite run May Miss Gray is reportedly head and ahoulders above the run-of-the-mill night club entertainer, whose abilities are limited by Basin Street and jazz boundaries. Not only does red-headed Miss Gray know the more contemporary awing numbers, but she is a composer besides, and well acquainted with Chopin, Bach, Beethoven and just about any other classic composer a student would care to name. CLEANERS 812 MAIN STREET A native of Davenport, Miss Gray was soloist with the band and orchestra during high school and accompanied glee clubs and choruses. She also played the piano in the Iowa state music contest. Following high school, she won a Maj. Bowes audition, was selected to play with the Tri-City Symphony, and since that time been wedded to By teaching for 12 years in the Quad-Cities of Moline, East Moline, Rock Island and Daver wt, Miss Gray was able to see herself through the American Conservatory of Music at Chicago. Earning a BA degree in music and a degree in piano, she now is working on a second MA in composition, studying under Leo Sowerby.

As part of her required work for the second degree, Miss Gray has other and Variations for and indicated that it soon will be played by a number of organizations, including the Independence and Long Beach Symphony Orchestras. Following her conservatory work, Miss Gray started with the duo-piano team of Gray and Freelan, booked by General Artists out of Chicago. When her partner married, she became a solo pianist, with the Music Corporation of America as her agent. As far as night club assignments are concerned, Miss Gray has played St. Louis, Indianapolis, Waterloo, Chicago and most of the larger Midwestern and Western cities.

In addition to radio appearances, there also have been stints with Horace Heidt and Howard Keel. Wiley, the top ranking Republican member af the Senate foreign relations committee, is a widower, his first wife having died in 1948. Mrs. Kydd is a native of Walthamstow, London, having come here in 1943 with the British Air Ministry. She is the Widow of George Kydd, an evaluation engineer in the Bureau of Internal Revenue who died in 1947. She was the former Dorothy May McBride.

Wiley got the license in nearby Alexandria, Va. It gave Mrs. age as 41. Wiley will be OE on May 26. Wiley's office said the senator and Mrs.

Kydd have known each other for several years and that she has just returned from a trip to Wisconsin where rile met the family.
