MRS. DAGMAR Christiansen will be at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Raymond Theesfield at Armstrong. MR. AND MRS. JERRY Fiehler and family of Osage City, Kan., and Mrs. Barbara Nock and family of Storm Lake will be holiday guests at the parental Otto Helfritz home. GLORIA NOCK, a sophomore at the University of Northern Ioiva at Cedar Falls, is spending the holidays at the parental Robert Nock home. MR. AND MRS. LLOYD Godfredsen, Laura Cheever and Mildred Tjensvold, all of Armstrong, and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Johnson will be guests of Mr. and Mrs. James Godfredsen and Jason on Christmas Eve. The Raymond Johnsons will also visit at the home of his son, Lloyd Johnson, and wife and family. THE CARL DUERS will have a Christmas Eve supper for Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Duer and Norman of Swea City, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hassel of Fenton, Mr. and Mrs. William Hassel and daughter of Dubuque, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hassel of Monticello, Leonard Hassel of Vermillion, S.D., and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Duer of Swea City, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Duer and Connie Duer of Omaha, Neb. ANDREA ANDREASEN will join Mr. and Mrs. James Andreasen and family at Algona for Christmas Eve. Mr. and Mrs. David Andreasen and Michael John of Estherville will be guests. MR. AND MRS. DEAN Oakes and family of Iowa City will spend several days at the parental Ernest Feddersen home at Fenton and the parental Joe Oakes home here. CHRISTMAS dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Irene Petersen will be Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Petersen and family of Northrop, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Polzin, and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Petersen and family of Manly. THE OSCAR PATTERSONS are entertaining their daughter, and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. William Gilchrist Sr., and grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. William Gilchrist Jr. and two sons, all of St. Joseph, Mo., for the holidays. MR. AND MRS. LOREN Johnson and family will be guests Christmas Day at the home of his mother, Mrs. Martha Monson, at Armstrong. MRS. IRENE Ostedgaard will be hostess to family members on Christmas Eve. Those present will be Mr. and Mrs. William Hamilton Jr. and family of Emmetsburg, Mr. and Mrs. David Ostedgaard of Iowa City, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Johnson and family and Mrs. Mary Nelsen. CHRISTMAS GUESTS at the Russell Dominy home will be Mrs. H. L. Dominy of Estherville, Mr. and Mrs. David Dominy and Patrick of Mason City, Rosemary Dominy of Ames, and James Dominy of Iowa City. MR. AND MRS. HARLAN Peterson will leave Friday via plane from Minneapolis for Lopoc, Calif., to spend the holidays at the home of their daughter, 2nd Lt. and Mrs. Mark Horwath and daughter. While in Minneapolis the Petersons will visit his brother, Kenneth Peterson. CHRISTMAS EVE guests at the home of Mrs. Edna Nielsen will be Mrs. Mary Nielsen and Paul, and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Nielsen and Matthew all of St. Paul, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Nielsen and Timmy. RICHARD Fredericksen will be a Christmas guest at the home of his brother, Vernon Fredericksen at Wallingford. MRS. MARTIN JACOBSEN of Emmetsburg, and Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Jacobsen, Lowell Robert Jr., Susan and Sandra of Graettinger will be Christmas Eve guests at the Herbert Jacobsen home. MR. AND MRS. T. H. Christensen will spend the holidays at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Robert Scott and family in Ankeny. MR. AND MRS. STANLEY Jorgensen and family will be guests on Sunday at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Ida Harvey atGruver. Sunday evening the Jorgensens and Mr. and Mrs. Les Jorge risen will be guests at the Milford Cole home. Superior Husbands Guests of Culture Club Seven members of the Culture Club, LW.F.C. met at the Arnold Saha home Saturday evening for a potluck supper. Husbands were guests and Mrs. Gladys Erpelding of Estherville and her guest, Miss Thomsen of Minneapolis, were also guests. Roll call was Christmas symbols, religious chairman, Mrs. Charles Leupold, read a Christmas prayer, Mrs. Roy Rouse told of the origins of several Christmas carols' and as she told of each one the group sang It accompanied by Mrs. Erpelding at the piano. Then Mrs. Erpelding and Miss Thomsen told of their trip to Scotland last summer, Miss Thomsen's pictures were movies and showed her sister's wedding which they attended. Mrs. Erpelding had slides. At the close of the evening Mrs. Saha served lunch. The next meeting will be at the Charles Leupold home Wednesday, Jan. 17. Kathryn Kimball and her roommate, Rebeca Danks, of Morn- ingside College, arrived at the Herman Kimball home Friday evening. Miss Danks went on to her home Saturday morning at Easton, Minn. The girls are home for their Christmas vacations. Dona Bos ma, who works in Sioux City, but is home at Sibley for two weeks, was a Sunday dinner and afternoon guest at the Louie Stolp home. Sunday dinner guests at the Dale Barber home were Mar- lehe Hruby of Fairmont'and Mary Waters of Spirit Lake. Mrs. Wally Brunsvold accompanied her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Einer Christensen, of Estherville and George Brunskill of Estherville to Ft. Atkinson, Wis., over the weekend to attend the wedding of her brother, Richard to Joyce Ausderhaar. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bueltel of Terril and Susan Yates of Estherville were Sunday supper guests at the Earl Bueltel home. Duane Ficken came Friday evening from Cedar Falls to spend his Christmas vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Ficken. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Swanson of Spirit Lake were Sunday afternoon and supper guests at the Garhardt Jensen home. Mrs. Harvey Svenby and Mrs. Dora Langfeldt were Monday evening guests at the Eldo Langfeldt home in Worthington. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Leupold were Sunday, Dec. 17, dinner guests at the Leo Kerstetter home in Charles City and visited her mother^., Mrs. F. B. Kerstetter, in a nursing home there. Judy and David Powell came from Iowa City Friday to spend a few days at the Donald Powell home. Mr. and Mrs. Claude Stratman entertained members of her family with an oyster stew in honor of her brother's birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Logan of Ruthven visited Mrs. Esta Johnson Sunday afternoon. Loretta Wahlman arrived home from Luther College at Decorah Saturday, Dec. 16, to spend her vacation with her family, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Wahlman and children.
