Cards of Thanks CARD OF THANKS I wish to thank everyone who remembered me with visits cards while in the hospital.. A special thank you to the nurses and doctors for their wonderful care. Also thanks to the ministers for their calls and prayers. Peter W. De Jager. 2-lp CARD OF THANKS "Gratitude is born in hearts that take time to count up past mercies" so says Charles E. Jefferson. The past month has been a continuous thanksgiving for me as I have had the time and the reason to lookbackand reflect on the good things of the past and the present. I cannot possibly write a thank you to everyone who prayed for me and my family, to those who sent flowers and messages of good will and cheer, to those who have taken on all of my duties in addition to their own, to those who brought gifts of food and to the ministers, doctors, nurses and hospital staff. So, I am using the best way I know to reach the most number of people, our area newspaper. Opal and I want to say thank you for every thought, word and act of love. An unknown author has said, "If a man carries his cross beautifully and makes it radiant with the glory of a meek and gentle spirit, the time will come when the things that now disturb will be the events for which he will most of all give gratitude to God." If it is true that nothing can happen to the Christian by accident, then I hope I can use this time of temporary inactivity to the glory of God who allowed it. The Hulsarts wish you the best of the seasons greetings and may we all feel the peace in our hearts that comes to men who practice love and good will. Frank Hulsart and family. 2-lc Go Class -- RUPP SNOWMOBILE Dealer- ship available In this area. Call or write Vern Evenson, P.O. Box 3613, Urbandale Station, Des Moines, 50322. Phone 515-255-8671.
