Row- 'enhorst were supper guests on Thanksgiving Day at the Lawrence Wissink home in Sheldon. Chris and Con Schiebout of Grand Rapids were Saturday evening guests in the Abe Schiebout home. A LITE MODEL CAR John Buurman and Mrs. Matilda Vander Wilt returned home Monday after spending Thanksgiving week at the Dr. and Mrs. Clarence Buurman home at Greenville, S. Carolina. Other guests spending Thanksgiving week at the Buurman home were Gayle Gorden, Warren, New Jersey, Mr. and Mrs. Terry De Jong and Paul and Michelle, Rockville, Maryland, Harold Vander Wilt, Winchester, Virginia, John Buurman, Wash.D.C. Bob Buurman, Williamsburg, Penn. Miss Mildred Adlers of Greenville also spent Thanksgiving-day with them. Mr. and Mrs. George Mieras were Thanksgiving dinner guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Raak. The family spent the day at the ( Albert Jager home. Mr. and Mrs. Merlyn Foreman and children of Des Moines and Mr. and Mrs. Leland Foreman of Fort Leavenworth spent the Thanksgiving weekend with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Maassen and Mr. and Mrs.Richard Lewis were home from Ames for the weekend also Patrcia Mulder from Ames. The Larsen baby had surgery in the Orange City hospital. Patricia had minor surgery staying in the hospital overnite. Mr. and Mrs. Earl De Jong and two children of Forest . City spent a few days in the wilbur De Jong home. Mrs. Gerrit Zeutenhorst was also a Thanksgiving day guest. Mr. and Mrs. Randy Ruisch and Connie Ruisch were home from Cedar Falls and Iowa City for the holiday. Mr. and Mrs. Al De Jager and the Paul Da Jager family went ot Westbrook, Minn, on Thanksgiving Day. Guests in the homo of Mr. and Mrs. Harv Vander Veen on Sunday evening were Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Nlbblellnk and family. Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Hasselo spent the Thanksgiving week-end with Mrs.Hasselo's sister, Mr. and Mrs. M.L. Noble in Minneapolis. Mrs. Bert Van Maanen spent the Thanksgiving Holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Vander Woude and family In Fort Wayne, Indiana. Thanksgiving Day with the Thayer and Chllder families in sanhorn. Ronald Muilenburg of Webster City was a Thanksgiving week-end guest in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Muilenburg, Mrs. Peter Wielenga had the misfortune of slipping on the ice at the First Christian Reformed Church on Sunday evening, breaking her hip. Mr, and Mrs. Thompson Ashby and two children of' Chariton, Iowa spent the Thanksgiving holiday with Miss Arloa Muilenburg, Also joining them for dinner on Thanksgiving Day was Mrs. Charles Tillema, Gerrit Kuiken and Mrs. John Brink spent Wednesday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kuiken. Bobby Sleeker had the misfortune to break his upper arm while sliding. Cindy De Jong dislocated her knee cap and has her leg in a cast. Mr. and Mrs. Ray De Jong Mr. and Mrs. Gerrit Riphagan and Mr. and Mrs. Paul De Jager attended the 45th anniversary open house for Mr. and Mrs. Joe Riphagen at Carmel Friday evening.
