Box 253, Covelo. 92t3c Offering Ukiah women a new beauty service, the Palace Beauty Salon is now equipped to give the new television control wave, developed and perfected by Andre, "This new permanent waving method is the most revolutionary discovery in the history of permanent waving," Don Cope, proprietor of the Ukiah beauty firm, said today. "A single master curl controls the entire waving process in a precisely governed manner that gives a perfect wave for any texture or type of hair. Television controlled waving is virtually failureproof, controlling scientifically and automatically the temperature and curl, adjusting the results to the needs of the individual patron. It's not a cold wave, not a machine wave, nor a ma- chineless—it's difjergnt. "Hair waved with the new permanent can be cut without the usual unsatisfactory results. Ringlets will return in feather-cuts and other stylings even after cutting, when the television method is used. Even a good wetting in the rain fails to disturb the curls achieved by the new system," LEAP YEAR PARTY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE MINISTER IN BERICELEY Rev. Charles G. Lin^emann attended tlie interdenominstiorial pastor's conference of the Pacific School, of ReUgipn in 'Berkeley last 'week, wlilch lasted from Monday thyough' Thursday. SUMMONS No. 15378 . Action brought in the Superior Court of the Stste P.f California, in and for the County of Mendocino, aad tlie cpmplgint filed in the oflipe of the Clerk of said County of Mendocino, , The first leap year party to come to the attention 'of the public was given Tuesday, February 24, by the Intermediate departriient of the Methodist church arid was to have bpen a trip to the mountains. Because of the abseriqe of snow from tiie mountains the plans were changed to a treasure hunt. The trail blazers met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M, E. Mc Donald at 9 o'clock in the morning and everything was in readiness for the parly at one o'clock, which started at tht church parlors where the captains Diane Archibald and Vivian Gates chose sides for their teams. There was much fun derived from the hunt which lead to the Mc Donald baclt yard where two spades were uncovered, then the hunt for the buried treasure, which was not too hard to fihd. The treasure was-, bottled cokes and cookies, •Then the rest of the afternoon was spent playing out' door games such as "Kick the Can," "Hide and Seek," and many others. Those who enjoyed thp party were Bobby Wright, Marcene Evans, Janet McDonald, Diane ArchilSild, Vivian Gates, Grace White, "Velva Archibald, Jean Richie, Everett Evans, Bobby Oden, Leona Wilson, Don Schieck and Bobby Archibald.
