THURSDAY, JUNE 9,1MO Nephews Near Milestones In Careers Peter Yiannos, nephew of Peter Vales, win re- oeive his doctorate in chemical engineering tram The Paper Institute of America at Lawrence Col* lege. Valos will attend the exercises. Two nephews of Peter Valos, owner of the Keystone Hotel, will pass Important milestones In their educational careers within the next week, and Peter will be on hand to see it. He's leaving Saturday morning for Chicago to meet Leo Yiannos, completing his second year of study toward a doctor's degree at the Illinois Institute of Technology. The two will go from there to Appleton, Wis., wheTe Leo's older brother, Peter N. Yiannos. will be receiving his doctor's degree in chemical engineering from the Paper Institute of America, affiliated with Lawrence College. Leo has been an assistant in the laboratory at the Illinois Institute, where he also has done some teaching. His speciality is mathematics. Peter plans to leave June 24 for six weeks in Greece, his native land. He has been nine years in the United States. Leo has been in the United States six years under a Fulbright scholarship. Peter has been a citizen for five years now. Peter will take up research work with the Scott Paper Co. at its Philadelphia plant's fundamentals department on his return to the United States from abroad.
