THE VICTORY Dairy Show Coining In May AN EASTER POEM Across the years the deafening cry of the angry mob has rung, And in our mind we see the Christ, as on the cross He The gentle loving Christ of all the Who have only love, undying love for insults hurled. Deserted, suffering, dying He hung upon the Cross, His disciples weak, bewildered, discouraged over their loss The humble suffering Christ who died for us. In face of such love as this we can only bow and trust. joyous Easter morning that brings eternal hope to our soul! The grave gave up the precious body it did hold Christ arose a victor over death and its destroying wave, And bids us believe, repent and trust, And fear not the grave. There are mysteries we cannot understand, and death is one, But Christ has shown the way for victory has won.
